Elowen grew up in the Grand Library of the main capital city. Her parents were minor scholars giving her unprecedented access to the world’s largest collection of magical history from a young age. She shows an extraordinary aptitude for Archival-Synthesis, a specialized field that focuses not just on reading ancient texts, but on translating and, crucially, stabilizing the volatile, raw magic sometimes captured within them.

Elowen begins working in the deepest, most neglected stacks of the library, the very ones the Chronos Cult would never suspect her to frequent. These stacks held fragmented, corrupted, unintelligible artifacts and texts. It was here, in a forgotten sub-sub-level filled with cobwebs and dust, that she finds the broken stone tablets and accompanying scrolls that contained the partial recipe for the AYYD Protocol (Ancient Yore Yielding Device). Elowen begins a journey to recover the scrolls and stop the Chronos Cult.
